Tesha’s Transformation: From a Scrawny Puppy to a Happy Dog – Adoption Drive Cancelled

In August 2021, Tesha the dog was rescued by compassionate pet lover Joey Low, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey from despair to joy. At the time of her rescue, Tesha was a scrawny, sickly puppy, suffering from severe skin issues and an injury to her paws that left her unable to walk.

Joey Low took Tesha in, but the young pup was initially terrified and reluctant to trust anyone. She flinched at every touch and struggled with sleep, waking up at the slightest sound. It was clear that Tesha had been through significant trauma.

However, with dedicated veterinary care and Joey’s tender love, Tesha slowly began to recover. Over time, her trust in Joey grew, and her once frail body began to show signs of strength and health. Tesha’s playful nature emerged as she became cheekier and more confident. A particularly heartwarming moment was during the mooncake festival when Joey shared a small doggie mooncake with Tesha, who enjoyed it immensely.

Today, Tesha is a vibrant, healthy dog, embodying the love and care she has received. Her transformation is a testament to the difference that kindness and commitment can make in an animal’s life.

Joey Low had planned to extend this spirit of compassion by hosting a pet adoption drive organized by Strays At Risk. The event was set to take place on April 16 at Jo’Tesha Northern Colours cafe in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, from 9:30 am to 5 pm. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the adoption drive has been cancelled.

Despite this setback, Joey remains dedicated to finding loving homes for other stray animals. Tesha’s story continues to inspire and highlight the importance of giving every animal a chance at a better life.

Happy Birthday, Tesha! Your journey from a suffering pup to a happy dog is an inspiration to us all.
