Tied to a tree for long periods, handed from one person to another, and finding himself in shelter after shelter, Lucky was always the least popular dog on the block. The pretty, fluffy dogs were quickly adopted, but Lucky was overlooked time and again simply because he didn’t look like the others.
Despite these challenges, there was nothing inherently wrong with Lucky. He is a perfectly happy, lovable dog who just doesn’t look as “pretty” as the others. Sadly, this superficial judgment led to years of mistreatment and abandonment, a heartbreaking experience for any creature, especially one as loving as Lucky.
After being abandoned at a shelter once more, rescuers decided to give Lucky a fresh start. They groomed him and posted his photos on social media, hoping to catch the eye of someone who could see beyond his appearance. That’s when Jamie entered Lucky’s life.
