The theme for Duke’s birthday was “Paw some Adventure,” reflecting his playful and adventurous spirit. We decorated the backyard with paw-print balloons, colorful banners, and a large sign that read “Happy 5th Birthday, Duke!” A cozy corner with blankets and cushions was set up for relaxation, ensuring both dogs and humans could enjoy the festivities comfortably.
The Guest List
Duke’s celebration included his best canine pals: Ruby, the energetic Golden Retriever; Max, the curious Beagle; and Bella, the sweet-natured Dachshund. Their human companions joined in, adding to the joyous atmosphere and ensuring the day was filled with love and laughter.
Treats and Eats
No birthday party is complete without delicious treats! For the dogs, we prepared a variety of goodies, including bone-shaped cookies, peanut butter and pumpkin pup cakes, and a special birthday cake made just for Duke. The cake, crafted from dog-friendly ingredients like sweet potato and chicken, was a hit among the canine guests.
