Bella and Spike, two resilient dogs from Grimsby, are about to celebrate a birthday that signifies a fresh start in their lives—one filled with love, care, and the comfort they’ve always deserved. Her nails were so overgrown that they curled back into her pads, causing her immense pain and making it difficult for her to walk. Spike, although active and friendly, was found to have an ear infection that needed immediate treatment.
When RSPCA officers discovered the appalling conditions in which Bella and Spike were living, they knew they had to act quickly. Both dogs were removed from the property and received the urgent veterinary care they needed. Bella’s nails were trimmed, her skin condition treated, and Spike was given the medication necessary to heal his ear infection.
Now, Bella and Spike have been rehomed with families who provide them with the loving and nurturing environment they were once denied.
